Crestone started with a $17 ring.

When I decided to propose to my girlfriend, I had a problem. I wanted to keep it a surprise, but she knew exactly what she wanted in a ring, and I didn’t want to guess wrong on the most important purchase of our lives.

So I improvised. I proposed with a cheap Amazon ring and told her we’d design the real one together. Then I did something most people don’t realize they can do. I bought a beautiful lab grown diamond online for a fraction of what a jeweler would charge, and we took it to a local jeweler to design the setting ourselves.

The ring came out exactly how she wanted it, at a fraction of the price. I got my surprise. She got her dream ring. Nobody had to compromise.

The only thing I wished for? That the diamond I proposed with could have been the real one, carried straight into the ring we designed together. That’s what Crestone makes possible now.
